Just wanted to vent.
I've been trying to pick up Dota the last few weeks and have about 40 hours total now. About 10 of the games have been evenly matched and everybody had a good time, great. However, every single other game is literally 4 man, premade group of people who have thousands of hours racked; literally in one champion- AND they're playing that specific champion in a public game.
It's a team of those guys; versus a team of noobs. Literally 1 for 40 kills and all we have to do by 20 minutes in is sit and watch them farm their jungle until they all have six items and decide to sit in our tower for 30 minutes.
I'm surprised how many people are happy to do this even when there's a team of noobs literally saying "I don't know what's happening" and "please end" but the real problem is matchmaking just keeps doing this anyway.
And I get it, the game has been out for a long time. The really triggering part is that I have to sit through another 60 humiliating hours of this before I can get finally get queued with a bunch of people a bit closer to my level and play the game.
Finding & relating to this helped me feel a bit better;
