Why don’t people try harder from behind?

Lately I’ve been getting more allies that just give up after having a bad laning phase. They call gg and go afk jungle/ badly out of position even before enemy seiges high ground. I feel like in pubs, there’s always AT LEAST 35% chance to comeback as long as your rax are intact. Suddenly it becomes 5% when we are defending 4v5 without a carry/mid not there and getting wiped

Also, I also get people who ping their mid’s level and enemy’s level when mid is lost. I’m here trying to smoke or setup defensive traps, and there’s my guy standing there pinging items and typing flame. Like bro we already have 1 player behind on our team, you need to be executing plays, not afk and flaming. Poor guys probably already feels bad for losing lane.

Why can’t people just play normally in these scenarios? Coming back and winning from a disadvantage is the most rewarding Dota feeling imo
