Recently with the new player update, bots were finally fixed. I play a lot of ranked etc but my mom actually ended up taking an interest in the game a few years back but only plays bots. The new Dawnbreaker patch completely broke bot behavior and they now feed constantly, almost never use any abilities, all bots on your team will follow you around and never farm, they stay at about level three for 20 minutes. What was the point of fixing bots if you're going to break them 2 weeks later? Please fix bots Valve, currently bot mode is unplayable.
